The luxury apartment is situated in a reconstruction of Chamonix’s oldest and most prestigious turn of the century Hotel des Alpes and is a feature building of the true Chamonix town.
Finished in 2004, the second floor luxury apartment is furnished to high specification. Each bedroom has own fully equipped ensuite. Large master bedroom has king-sized (5′) bed with traditional Edwardian wardrobe, dressing table and chairs. Second bedroom has twin UK-size single beds and spacious built-in wardrobes. All beds have luxury specification mattresses. Two highly comfortable three seater sofas in living room (one, a double sofa bed with quality mattress). Widescreen TV with DVD (rent DVDs from shop around the corner) and separate CD audio system. Excellent kitchen area with four plate hob, extractor hood, fridge and combination oven/microwave. Excellent range of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. Own private car park in the building’s basement with direct access by lift where there is also a large private cave for storing skis, luggage and walking boots.
Ski bus stop is a minute’s walk away taking you to any of the ski areas in the valley. Idyllic in summer and often used as a touring base with doorstep access to Italy through Mont Blanc tunnel. Amazing sights and excellent access to nearby beauty spots and places of interest including those in Italy and Switzerland. Further afield Annecy (‘Venice of the North’) and its lake is within a day’s trip.

Twin bedroom has UK-sized single beds with high specification mattresses and very spacious built in wardrobes. Self controllable thermostatic radiators.
