Apartment D4, Refuge de L'Alpage is a new development right next to the slopes at Morillon 1100, a small but self contained ski resort in the Grand Massif ski area. In normal conditions you can ski in and ski out.
Morillon 1100 is one of the nearest ski areas to Geneva airport [which is served by low cost operators such as Easyjet and Flybe] and only a 50 minute drive away. The Grand Massif ski area provides some 260 km of superb skiing. You can enjoy all the benefits of the lovely wide pistes in the Flaine area without the ugly architecture and typically cramped apartments.
In Summer, the area is a paradise for outdoor activities. For mountain bikers and walkers there are over 400 kms of well signposted tracks. Golfers have 3 courses within 40 minutes drive. It is well situated as the lift 30 metres away operates in summer and is adapted to take bikes.
The modern and well equipped apartment on 2 floors has everything you need for a self catering holiday and Morillon 1100 has its own ski school, ski hire and day nursery facilities [6 months+].
The 4 bedroomed accommodation benefits from having an additional room upstairs which can either increase the sleeping capacity to 10 [bed settee and single pull out] or be used as reading /listening to music area when the TV/DVD is on downstairs. With sleeping for up to 10 and with 2 bedrooms on both floors/plenty of bathrooms, the accommodationm lends itself to 2 families sharing
