Nestled in the heart of the French Alps, mountain escapes come in many forms — from intimate catered chalets to prestigious resort-side residences. Whether you seek the tranquillity of traditional alpine villages or the refined atmosphere of world-renowned ski destinations, the region offers a remarkable range of experiences for winter and summer travellers alike.
Courchevel: A Distinctive Luxury Experience
Before diving into the authentic charm of St Gervais, it is worth highlighting another exceptional destination in the Alps: Courchevel. Known for its elegant atmosphere, Michelin-starred dining, and direct access to the vast Three Valleys ski area, Courchevel offers an unmatched blend of comfort and adventure. Through Altitude Courchevel, visitors can find a wide selection of premium chalets and apartments, making it an ideal choice for anyone seeking a luxury holiday rental in Courchevel.
From cosy family apartments in Courchevel 1650 to prestigious chalets in Courchevel 1850 with spa facilities, private drivers or breathtaking views, the resort caters to travellers who value refinement, convenience, and a seamless mountain experience. This diversity makes Courchevel a perfect complement to the more traditional, quietly charming setting of St Gervais.

The property includes five large double rooms that can be converted into twin or family rooms to suit guests’ needs, spread across three floors. Each area has its own bathroom and toilet. The large lounge/dining room spans the width of the house, while the smaller entrance lounge—heated by a wood-burning stove—provides a cosy welcome to the ground-floor rooms and to skiers returning from the mountain. Across all price ranges, the chalet offers half-board accommodation, airport transfers from Geneva, and the use of chalet transport during the stay.
The host remains at guests’ disposal throughout the week, both on the mountain and at the chalet where he lives. The team can arrange as much or as little as required, including insurance, ski equipment, guiding, entertainment, and instruction. Chalet 667 is situated two miles from the centre of St Gervais, France, on the road to Les Contamines Mont Joie. It is a five-minute drive from the St Gervais lifts, fifteen minutes from those of Les Contamines, thirty minutes from Chamonix, and an hour and a quarter from Geneva airport. One of the chalet’s key attractions is its central position relative to the many varied resorts of the Massif du Mont Blanc region. If there is snow in the Alps, the host will find it.
